Introducing…..The Little T’s Sewing Journal!
I’m very excited to finally be sharing our newest product to Little T’s Haberdashery, a Sewing Journal!
The Sewing Journal is perfect for both experienced sewists and those new to sewing. You can use it however you like, for the most basic to more complex projects.
The Journal features;
– handy A5 size so won’t take over your sewing space
– over 40 double sided pages
– 15 dedicated project spaces
– inspiration and notes pages
– graph / squared pages, perfect for quilters or for sketching patterns
– pattern catalogue
And lots more…!
I wanted to create the Journal as I’m the type of sewist that always has lots of different projects on the go – works in progress if you like – and my notes on scraps of paper ALWAYS go missing or end up hiding in ‘safe places’ I must stash them in. I loved the idea of being able to keep all my notes together, something I could keep at hand on my sewing table.
I also love that the Journals are a great place to keep track of adjustments I make to clothing patterns – necklines / lengths / sleeves etc. I do this a lot (one of the perks of wearing handmade, as I’m sure you’ll agree)! But there’s nothing more frustrating than making a top that fits perfectly, only to struggle to replicate it because you can’t remember what adjustments you made.
The pattern catalogue and pattern wishlist sections are really handy too. If you’re anything like me, you struggle to remember what patterns you own or the specifics of them (size ranges etc), by adding them to the catalogue you’ll always have an easy reference. The wishlist section, is just that! Perfect for jotting down the names and designers of all these adorable patterns you see being shown off by super talented strike off sewists in your favourite Facebook groups. I’ve lost count of the number of times I’ve seen a pattern I liked the look of, only to not be able to find it again to purchase.
The Journals have been exclusively made for Little T’s Haberdashery, featuring a wonderful illustration by the talented Rachel Yeandle of Me&Noo and brought to life and printed by the ever helpful Laura Beardmore at Neoito Creative.
They have a protective clear plastic front cover and black card back cover and are bound with a high quality wire binding. They are printed on premium 100gsm white paper.
